An unusual Date (Short Stories For Kids)
Let's read the story of "Browny and Bee"(Chapter 5)
Browny was very excited about going to zoo with Lisa ,he couldn't sleep as he had her phone number but was really nervous to call ."I can call her and inform the time if you want" Bee yawns and says to Browny sarcastically.Suddenly the phone rings "HELLO this is Lisa......... "
Browny stutters and says "HELLO"
"Browny is this you,Brawn gave me your number .I just called you to know at what time we will leave tomorrow".
"Let's go at 11 am,I can ask my mother to pick you up " browny says in a broken voice ."OK Thank you,Good night".
(The Next Day)
Browny packs loads of snacks for his friends and asks his mother to pick up Lisa.Brawn was coming
with his father.
Lisa dressed up nice and was wearing a beautiful necklace ,she was looking really pretty.Browny's heart starts pounding ,he felt like they both were going on a date.
They soon reach the destination ,Browny puts Bee in his pocket so that it enjoys watching all the animals.
" look a lion"Bee says in excitement.
"Did you say anything Browny" Lisa says in a confused tone.Browny shocked to know that Lisa could hear Bee stutters and says"It was me,it is my first time to see a lion,Excuse me".
He goes inside the restroom and talks to Bee "How could she hear you,you said no one will be able to hear you except me,I am your master" .
"I don't know ,but we need to be really careful ,we can not let her know about me".
Browny nods his head and goes back to Lisa."where were you " Brawn asks."Lisa lost her
necklace ,she is scared that her mother will scold her".Browny sees Lisa crying aloud ,he whispers to bee to do something.Bee makes itself invisible and flies in the air searching for the necklace.
Meanwhile Browny tells Lisa to search in all the places they went.But they don't find it,Bee also returns empty handed.
Browny says"If it is nowhere is must be in the car" .they all run towards the car and starts searching .Browny finds a sparkling thing beneath the car seat Lisa was sitting ."I found it" he says with excitement.Lisa squeals to get her necklace back,she hugs Browny tightly and thank him.Shy Browny says"your welcome".They all eat their snacks and enjoy a lot.
"Thank you Browny i enjoyed a lot and do not ever tell my mom about the necklace" Lisa says smiling.They both laugh together and the evening fills with cool breeze...............
